Salavantes, a beloved and historic restaurant in Kalamaki, Chania, has undergone a stunning renovation that revitalizes its traditional charm with a contemporary boho flair. This well-known establishment now boasts an inviting ambiance that seamlessly blends rustic elegance with relaxed, earthy tones, making it a perfect spot to enjoy Chania's renowned hospitality.

The redesign emphasizes the use of raw materials, creating a warm and organic atmosphere. Wood, bamboo, and makuti dominate the space, lending an authentic, natural feel. Two expansive wooden pergolas stand majestically in the yard, their intricate designs providing both shade and a striking visual element. Under these pergolas, diners can enjoy the refreshing outdoor air while being sheltered from the elements.

Centrally located between the two pergolas is a small, charming bar, serving as the heart of the restaurant. Its design is a beautiful blend of traditional and bohemian elements, encouraging guests to gather, socialize, and relish handcrafted drinks. The bar’s earthy materials and laid-back style perfectly complement the overall aesthetic of Salavantes.
